A man who was left unable to care for himself ever again has won the right personal injury compensation.
After an accident carpenter Daniel Ince has had to spend most of his time living at the brain injury rehabilitation unit but has now been granted the right to claim injury compensation.
When crossing the road in West London Mr Ince was struck by a BMW, which was speeding. It was a hit and run in which Mr Ince was left with severe head injuries. The legal action was taken by Mrs Phelan the mother of Mr Ince and the insurer have now admitted a 75% liability. This means that Mr Ince should receive a significant amount in compensation to help pay for the constant care that is required in cases where severe brain injury occurs.
The judge ruled the outcome to be sensible and the Motor Insurers Bureau reminds individuals that if you should witness a hit and run accident it is important to note the cars license plate. Report this incidents to police as soon as you can and anyone who was a witness should report what they saw as this is going to help when it comes to court hearings.
