25 Things About Me: Raiden Of Metal Gear Solid

1. Most people recognize me as Raiden, but my real name is Jack. I also went by a few others like Jack the Ripper and White Devil.
2. My name originated from the Mistubishi J2M fighter plane in World War 2. The American nickname for the plane was Jack, while the Japanese nickname was Raiden.
3. In the Civil War during the 1990s, I fought as a child soldier for Solidus Snake. I found out later he murdered my parents so that he could raise me to kill for him.
4. I'm always battling Solid Snake for the best roles so when I first debuted in Sons of Liberty, I was sure to win his fans. Turned out to be a rough start though….
5. My first mission was to save the President of the United States. This was quite the task given that nobody thought I had any live combat training.
6. The black Skull Suit that I wore in MGS2 may have looked cool and stealthy, but it really wasn't comfortable.
7. People think Rose talks too much, but if you know anything about our relationship, I think you'd understand why we had to "communicate."
8. I don't understand how people can confuse me with Raiden from the Mortal Kombat series. The only thing we have in common is that in Japanese, our name means "thunder and lightning."
9. I do understand why people would be confused with all the different references to Snake. There's Solid Snake, Solidus Snake, Liquid Snake, Naked Snake, and heck, even I was codenamed Snake at one point!
10. I admit that during my early debut, I agreed to do anything for more screen time. Regrettably, what happened in Snake Eater after choosing the option, "I like MGS2" was not what I intended to accomplish.
11.I workout about 4 times a week and use Gekkos as my dumbbells. I tend to use at least 3 at a time or find myself bored.
12.I don't like hospitals and prefer to not undergo any more major surgeries.
13.Don't tell Rose this, but I say Sunny makes better eggs.
14.If I were to dye my hair, I would want to try jet black.
15.I have one son named John, but before he was born, Rose told me she had a miscarriage in order to protect him.
16.My favorite movie is King Kong; my least favorite is Beauty and the Beast. We watched both movies anyway as a family.
17.I'm ashamed to admit that even though I'm strong enough to defeat Solidus Snake and Vamp, I can't seem to beat Mario. Seriously, the plumber actually knows some stylish CQC!
18.Codec and Olga's frequency blade, FTW!
19.When I'm spending time with John, he likes to pick up on my scouting and hunting techniques which I learned in Alaska.
20.During the time I was a Cyborg Ninja and assisting Snake, I remember not fearing death and did whatever I thought necessary to survive or win; even if that meant sacrificing a few limbs.
21.I'm still learning to trust people. It's kind of hard to let people in after what I've been through.
22.I'm looking forward to staring in Metal Gear Solid: Rising. Let's hope the audition went well!
23.Whenever Otacon and I want to get back at Snake, we take his cigars and hide it. Then afterwards we get away with it by reminding him that he needs to quit.
24.Before MGS4, more women bought my action figures than men, but now, everyone is buying them! Still not selling as well as Snakes' though….
