Why was Biohazard renamed Resident Evil for Western release?
If anyone has a website reference to back this up, that would be excellent.
Nope. The answer is to avoid copyright infringement with a New York punk metal band called Biohazard. The problem is I had trouble finding an Internet reference although I do remember this fact being published in PlayStation magazines and such.
Could be because it is the real name.
