Why do people hate Star Wars Ep 1-3 vs 4-6?
I have tried watching these time and time again just to understand it.
Only thing i didnt like was Jar Jar Binks. But of course you could compare the gun guns to.. the ewoks of Return of the Jedi.
People say the talking in 1-3 was "Rushed" or "forced"
sorry but that makes no sense. Tell me one movie the chat sounds perfect.
the story lines were right along the lines of a story Lucas created before most of us were alive.
In fact he wrote a book in the early 70's that he would later break up into chaperts and then episodes.
in fact there might have been as many as 12 chapters in it.
People like to say he could never do a 7-9 but yet if you knew Star Wars, you'd know there's plenty of Post ROTJ story to go.
In fact in 1995 when Lucas first announced plans to possble make sequels, "Heir to the Empire" was his original plan. Id love to see those done. Their set 5 years later, and a invasion of the New Republic by a new Imperial leader.
Gonna keep it simple. Too much reliance on CG instead good storytelling. For me, other than episode 3, the other two are crap. Here are the main points:
1. Too much reliance on CG.
2. Jar-Jar Blinks
3. Horrible settings and fashion statement such as Queen Amadala's outfit resemebling a Japanese prostitue.
